MRI written report 5/25/2012 @ MSKCC

MR LIVER W/WO CON

Clinical Statement: Colorectal liver metastases

Technique: Axial in- and out-of-phase T1 - weighted; axial fat-saturated T2 - weighted; coronal single-shot fast spin-echo T2-weighted; and dynamic Gadolinium-enhanced axial T1-weighted images were acquired.

Comparison: March 23, 2012

Findings:

HEPATOBILIARY: Diffuse hepatic steatosis. Status post multiple wedge resections. Interval ablation of segment 7 lesion with new ablation defect measuring 3.2 x 2.9 cm. New liver lesions consistent with metastases in segment 6 anteriorly measuring 1.3 x 1.2 cm, and in segment 4A measuring 0.8 x 0.5 cm. Stable hemangiomas in segment 7 and segment 2. No biliary dilatation.

SPLEEN, PANCREAS, ADRENAL GLANDS: Unremarkable

KIDNEYS: Unremarkable aside from bilateral renal cysts

ABDOMINOPELIVIC NODES: No adenopathy

BONES/SOFT TISSUES: No suspicious osseous lesion.

OTHER: none

IMPRESSION:
1. Since March 23, 2012, interval ablation of segment 7 metastasis. New liver lesions in segments 4A and 6 consistent with metastases. Diffuse hepatic steatosis (means, fatty liver).

CEA: 10.7 [0 - 5.0 = normal]

Platelets: 236 [160-400]

RBC: 4.89 [4.0 - 5.2]

WBC: 8.3 [4 - 11]

all blood work is in normal range
